Introduction of Alpinestars Gloves
The company started out way back in 1963 in Italy and started off making hiking and ski boots. They moved swiftly on to making boots for motocross racing. In the 1990’s the company really moved on and branched out into making protective Alpinestars jackets and Alpinestars gloves which we all know and have come to love today. You can also get a full leather suit for racing which is a bit pricey but it’s well worth the money if you can afford it. Personally I’ve got a few pairs of gloves and that’s about as far as the budget can stretch at the moment. I do have my eyes on a cool pair of Alpinestars Gloves and a leather jacket. One amazing fact I found out today is that Alpinestars used to make brand mountain bikes but unfortunately stopped production in 1996. Alpinestars gloves are everywhere these days. If you watch Formula One, Motocross or NASCAR you’ll see that the majority of the drivers use these gloves due to their comfort and technical safety they offer. It might be interested for you to know that the company takes its name from the English translation of the Italian word “stelle alpine” which strangely enough means “Alpine Stars” in English. Useless or useful fact of the day you can decide! I first came across when I got my first bike and I managed to negotiate an old pair of Alpinestars gloves in with the cost of the bike. My understanding is that the Scorpion helmets is the replacement for the Quantum II. My last two Scorpion helmets have been the Arai Quantum II, and after 800+ miles, the scorpion-exo-700 has been a superior fit for me. It hugs the contours in my face better, and fits around my chin more securely. Plus, it's quiet and comfortable.
For those "reviewers" who are saying the cheek pads are too tight, mark across forehead, etc. , I would say, maybe the scorpion-exo-900 is not the correct helmet for your head and face shape.
Finding a good helmet that fits is more "art" than science; there is no good or bad helmet, there is the helmet that fits YOU:) Find THAT hel
First, I have to say, dealing with Revzilla was a real pleasure. Package arrived in 1 week exactly even though i'm in the middle east at the moment. The Scorpion exo-1000 is everything i expected in terms of quality and I like the fact that it does not have an overly exaggerated venting system like the GP. I must admit that even though I watch all the clips on you tube on changing the visor, that it was still a very tedious affair and at one point I thought I recked it when the side panel popped off during one of my attempts. The one the worked for me was changing the visor with the helmet on. Don't know why, it just did on my first attempt. Overall, i think its the wholesale helmets and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Traffic deaths as the world's fifth leading cause of death
Recalling the joint causes of death according to the World Organization of the latest sample survey results, various types of injury for residents in countries all over the world has become the fifth cause of death.
Review of the third cause of death according to the UN sample survey, from 2008 to 20010 places in the world of injury (injury and poisoning) of the mortality rate was 600/100 million, 10.1% of total deaths, ahead of cerebrovascular disease, malignant tumor , respiratory disease and heart disease later. The survey also showed that the top 5 of fatal injuries were: traffic accidents, suicide, accidental falls, drowning and accidental poisoning.
Drowning is a 14-year-old children, the first cause of injury death, falls are the highest number of child injuries, child injuries occurred mainly at home. The main method of preventing harm to children, parents of young children is to improve prevention awareness, strengthen care; for older children is to train children in good safety behavior, such as walking safety skills, prevent falls, trampling the knowledge and skills, fire safety skills. >/p>
Official said, the public should have the basic skills of injury prevention, injury to the different risk factors for changes in knowledge, attitudes and behavior. Such as: road traffic injuries do not primarily drink driving, not speeding, properly wearing a motorcycle helmet, the right to wear seat belts, etc., but also to understand some of the impact of drugs on driving behavior.
Severely punish violations of the joint responsible traffic order that people, such as non-stop, drink driving, seat belts must be with a good front, riding motorcycles to wear helmets must be protected, and so, if offenders will have to remove one to two years of driving experience.
